Hi there. I’m Stuart, the founder and personal trainer here at Banstead Fitness.
I have always had a huge interest in sport and fitness and decided it was time to use my experience and knowledge to help others through their fitness journey and achieve their fitness and health goals.
So, I trained as a fitness instructor and personal trainer to give me the qualifications to be a professional fitness coach and then never looked back.
I later decided to add fitness classes to my services as I was aware that many people would prefer to exercise in groups, so I trained as a Boxercise instructor and Boxercise advanced skills instructor. This gave me a new exciting skill that I could add to personal training sessions and also run as stand alone classes that are a lot of fun. Due to this I’ve have had the pleasure of meeting some fantastic people along the way.
Asides from Boxercise, I also run circuit classes that use many of the exercises I use in personal training sessions but within a class setting with people of all levels and abilities.
I soon realized that the majority of clients reaching out to me were in need of help with weight loss, so I decided to enrol on the NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Weight Loss Specialist course to be able to give my clients the best possible service and help them get the results they deserve. This has given me invaluable knowledge that I didn’t have as a standard personal trainer and I am now able to use multiple strategies to ensure clients reach their goals.
I also furthered my knowledge by gaining the Optimum Nutrition qualification in Advanced Nutrition, so I won’t just advise you of what to eat but also when to eat and the effects certain foods have the body both negatively and positively.
Ultimately, my aim is to help people achieve their fitness goals and enjoy the journey along the way.
